The Massage Therapy program at Conestoga College is a full-time, three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program. This program is geared towards those individuals with an interest in health care and helping people, an aptitude for science and problem solving, and direct hands-on application of skills. The program is designed to meet the educational requirements for certification, through examination, as a Registered Massage Therapist by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

The program prepares students for a variety of roles in the healthcare industry, including but not limited to:

  • Registered Massage Therapist: They provide massage therapy to patients with a variety of health conditions, and may work in a variety of settings, including private practices, spas, hospitals, and wellness centers.
Admissions Requirements
  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.
     
  • Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251).
     
  • Grade 11 or 12 Biology, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Biology (SCIE1010).
     
  • Grade 11 or 12 Physics or Chemistry, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Chemistry (SCIE1030).
     
  • Grade 11 or 12 Math, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1395), OR Grade 12 Kinesiology (PSK4U).


    English Language Proficiency Requirements
     
  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 88, with no individual skill less than 22.
     
  • IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5, with no bands less than 6.0, except the speaking band which must be 8.0.
     
  • CAEL: Minimum overall score of 70, with no sub-test band scores less than 60.
     
  • PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 58.
     
  • Conestoga English Language Test (CELT): Band 6.
     
  • Cambridge Exams: Minimum overall score of 180, with no individual score less than 170.
     
  • Or equivalent scores in other recognized standard tests of English.
     
Fees and Funding

The estimated tuition and fee details for the Massage Therapy program at Conestoga College for the 2024-2025 academic year are as follows:
