The Manufacturing Engineering Technology - Welding and Robotics (Optional Co-op) program at Conestoga College is a full-time, three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program. This program is designed for students interested in operating and troubleshooting automated and robotic welding systems. The curriculum builds on welding technology with a broader knowledge in manufacturing methods and industrial automation. As a student in this program, you will develop your skills through active and project-based learning in a state-of-the-art facility, using modern equipment.

The program prepares students for a variety of roles in the manufacturing industry, including but not limited to:
- Welding Automation Specialist: They are responsible for the operation and troubleshooting of automated and robotic welding systems.
- Manufacturing Engineer: They are involved in the design and improvement of integrated systems for producing products.
- Robotics Technician: They build, maintain, and repair robots.
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.
- Grade 12 compulsory English, C or U, or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251).
- Grade 12 Mathematics, C or U (MCT4C or MAP4C or MHF4U or MCV4U or MDM4U), or equivalent, or Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics for Technology & Apprenticeship (MATH1385).
The minimum grade required for the following courses are:
MCT4C: 55%
MAP4C: 80%
MHF4U, MCV4U: 55%
MDM4U: 70%
MATH1385: 55%
