The Business Administration - Financial Planning program at Conestoga College is a full-time, three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma program. It is designed to equip students with all of the technical educational requirements leading to the Qualified Associate Financial Planner™ designation through FP Canada™. The program focuses on providing students with the foundational knowledge to support their progress towards licensing examinations within the securities, mutual funds, and insurance industries in Canada.

An Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent (assessed to Ontario standards), or 19 years of age or older with mature student status.
- English Requirement:
Grade 12 compulsory English, C (min 60%) or U (min 50%) or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications (COMM1251) (min 60%), or equivalent.
- Mathematics Requirement:
Grade 12 Mathematics, C (min 60%) or U (min 50%) or equivalent, OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1375) min 60%.
- Academic Strength:
An academic strength is calculated by averaging the submitted marks of required subjects. Minimum average considered is 65%. If more than one mark is received for a required subject, the highest mark will be used in the calculation.
- Additional Marks:
Ten (10) additional marks are added to each Advanced level, OAC, U, U/C, and post-secondary course used in the calculation of the academic strength.
- Background Requirement:
A sound mathematical and English background is important for success in this program and is considered during the admission process. Minimum cutoffs apply.
